Vietnam tour package 21 days

Itinerary details:


Day 1: Ha Noi city and arrival




  • Arrive at Noi Bai international airport. You will be greeted by your local tour guide and driver. Transfer to your hotel in the city center.

  • Overnight at your proposed hotel in Ha Noi.


Day 2: Ha Noi city tour (B/L/_)




  • Breakfast at the hotel. At 8.30am, pick up at your hotel for visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda, continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university. You will also visit the famous prison that American POWs sarcastically dubbed the “Hanoi Hilton” during the Vietnam War. Take a relaxing walk along Thanh Nien street next to the famous West Lake. Visit Dong Xuan market and enjoy traditional food Cha Ca La Vong a Ha Noi specialty. Riding on a rickshaw around 36 streets in the Old Quarter. You will have many chance to see local product handmade as well as doing shopping.

  • Enjoy water puppet show in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Ha Noi – Ninh Binh – Tam Coc – Hoa Lu (B/L/_)




  • Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up at your hotel at 8.00am then leave Hanoi for Hoa Lu – Tam Coc, you have chances to view the landscapes along the roadsides. Arrive in Ninh Binh province at 10.30am, then we visit Hoa Lu, an ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 AD to 1010 AD during the Dinh and early Le Dynasties. In Hoa Lu ancient capital left behide two small temples of the Kings each one nearly a thousand years old

  • Short break for lunch at a restaurant near Tam Coc. After lunch, we take sampans to visit Tam Coc, which is literally known “ Three Caves” First Cave is the longest one which is considered a real rainbow in the water in the morning time stretching on both sides of the Ngo Dong River. The quiet movements of the oars create a sort of musical rhythm inside the cave. As the boat leaves the cave, you can see what seems to be an old man with a white breard fishing, fairy flying in the clouds, peasants collecting fuel and a group of white goats grazing on the hills. Then we move to the Second Cave and the Third Cave.

Day 4: Trang An – Bai Dinh pagoda – Ha Noi (B/L/_)




  • Following breakfast at your hotel. Meeting your tour guide at 7.30am at your hotel for visit Trang An. Trang An is an area of ​​our country, clouds swirled.   • Breakfast at the hotel. At 8.00am, leave for Ha Long Bay through the Red River Delta. Arrive at Paloma office, Halong City. Tranfer by tender to the Paloma Cruise – enjoy welcome drink. Receive cruise briefing and check in to cabins and begin cruise. Lunch – delicious Vietnamese set menu (Massage service is available beginning after lunch  and thoughout the cruise. Heads to Bai Tu Long Bay passing the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, Oan Lagoon, Mat Quy (Monster Head) and Am Tich (Teapot) Islets and Vung Vieng fishing village. Visit the fishing village by local rowing boat (01 hour) then return to the vessel for free time at your leisure or join one of the following optional activities:

  • Kayak into the village or swim near the boat;

  • Optional onboard activities: Sunbathing, traditional massage, etc.;

  • Trip by tender to an isolated pristine beach for swimming, etc.

  • Paloma cruises through the Bay to its overnight anchorage near Hang Trong.

Day 6: Ha long – Ha Noi – Lao Cai ( B / L/_ )




  • Start your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck while complimentary tea & coffee are served.

  • Paloma weighs anchor to cruise through the Bay passing beautiful spots like Trong (Drum), Trinh Nu (Virgin) and Me Cung Caves, Coc Ngoi (Toad) Islet, etc

  • Explore the Surprise Cave (Sung Sot)

  • Return to Paloma cruise

  • Check out the cabin. Western menu is served onboard. The vessel cruises leisurely back to harbor.

  • Disembark at Paloma office, Halong City. Tea & coffee will be served. Return to Ha Noi. Check in a mini hotel for leave your luggage and take a shower. Free to explore the town until transfer to the train station for the night train to Lao Cai (20.35 – 05.05).

  • Overnight in an air-conditioned soft sleeper cabin (4 pax/ cabin)


Day 7: Lao Cai – Coc Ly market – Sapa ( B/ L/ _ ) Tuesday




  • Arrive at Lao Cai station at 05.05am. Meeting your tour guide and driver. After having breakfast at restaurant. Transfer to Sapa for CocLy market, which is situated far from Sapa. Enjoy the peaceful life of 6 different minority peoples (Flower H'mong, Black Dzao, Tay, Dzay, HaNhi and Nung). The market is the chance for the minorities to meet and share joy and sorrows after the crops, to exchange one another's experience.

  • Say goodbye to the market and get down onto a boat along Chay river. You are bound to feel great and find yourselves smaller among high rock mountains and to be surprised at white and breathtakingly waterfalls. The Fairy Cave is located deeply in the rocks. Get off the boat to visit a village of the Tay Minority (TrungDo village) by the river.

  • After the boat trip, visit a small town – Bao Nhai.

  • Proceed to Sapa.

  • Overnight at your proposed hotel in Sapa


Day 8: Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van – Lao Cai ( B / L / _ )




  • Breakfast at the hotel. At 8.00am, start trekking downhill to Y Linh Ho and Muong Hoa Valley through rice paddies and small hamlets to learn the life of hill tribes here. Communication exchange with local people in Lao Chai village then continuing walking through villages and rice terraced fields to Ta Van village settled by Dzay ethnic. Have picnic lunch on the way then keep going to the bottom of Sapa valley which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area. Back to Sapa.

  • At 19.00pm, transfer to Lao Cai for the night train to Ha Noi (21.00– 05.30).

  • Overnight in an air-conditioned soft sleeper cabin  (4 pax/ cabin)


Day 9: Return Ha Noi – Hue 




  • Arrive to the  train station at 05.30am, pick up and transfer to the airport for boarding the flight VN1541 to Hue (08.20am – 09.30am). Meeting your tour guide and driver on arrival.

Day 10: Hue city (B/L/_) 




  • Breakfast at the hotel. At 08.00 am, start a your sightseeing by take a morning cruise on the Perfume River to visit the royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, Thien Mu pagoda and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a setting of gardens and lakes.

  • In the afternoon, visit Dong Ba market, the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between1802 and 1945, and the ruins of the Purple Forbidden City.

  • Enjoy the night boat trip enlivened by a performance of Hue folks songs.

Day 11: Hue – Hoi An (B/_/_) 




  • Breakfast at your hotel. Depart for Hoi An via Da Nang. Over Hai Van Pass – to enjoy the wonderful panorama from the top of the Pass. On the way, visit the Marble mountain, the Cham museum and China Beach.

Day 12: Hoi An city – My Son (B/L/_ )




  • Breakfast at the hotel. At 08.00am, make a walking trip to visit Hoi An ancient town. Wander around Hoi An you have an enjoyment of old streets, houses…visit Tan Ky house, Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Hall, Sa Huynh Museum, local market. You can also have time to enjoy traditional music performance in old house. Once more special of Hoi An ancient town is spending time to go shopping at silk shops, lattern shops for experience of handicarft villages and make tailor with reasonable price.

  • Leave for visiting My Son Hollyland – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you have more chance to learn about of architecture of Cham people. You can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Having chance to enjoy the traditional music performance of Cham girls.

Day 13: Hoi An – Cham Island (B/L/_)

  • 08:00AM: Relaxing in fresh cool wind and enjoy the beautiful landscape on Hoi An Green speed boat to Cham Island.

  • 08:30AM: Arriving at Lang Beach. Visiting the Marine Protected Area, The Boat Shelter, Hai Tang pagoda, Traditional fishing Village

  • 10:00 AM: Swimming and snorkeling

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh city tour and dinner on Bonsai cruise (B/L/D)




  • Breakfast at the hotel. At 08.30am, start a sightseeing tour to the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975, and some French colonial structures including Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Central Post Office. Visit the War Remnants Museum and the Emperor Jade Pagoda. Shopping at Ben Thanh market and Sai Gon square a shopping center in Ho Chi Minh city.

  • After having lunch, driven to China town, visit Binh Tay market. You can find many products such as textiles, electric, cosmetic, shoes, leather, germs … at this market. Then visit Thien Hau temple. Return to your hotel for taking a rest.

  • At 18.30 Enjoy sumptuous Europe and Asia cuisine buffet on this magical dinner cruise aboard a Bon Sai cruise.

  • End the trip at 21.30.

Day 16: Ho Chi Minh – Cao Dai Temple – Cu Chi tunnels (B/L/_)




  • Breakfast at your hotel. At 8.30am, drive west to Tay Ninh, the centre of Caodaism. O­n arrival we attend the fantastic mid-day temple service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. O­n the way back, stop to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network of tunnels constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodation, etc. and were used as a military base for the Vietcong during the American war.

  • Drive back to HCMC around 6.00pm.

Day 17: Hochiminh – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B/L/_)




  • Breakfast at the hotel.  At 08.00am, leave Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals. Have a short cycling tour, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantations and villages.

Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to cross a "Monkey bridge" which is built by only o­ne stem of bamboo. Visit the orchard garden.

  • Proceed to Rach Gia for boarding the express boat to Phu Quoc Island (13.00 – 15.00). Pick up and transfer to your hotel.

  • Breakfast at the hotel. At 08.00am, leave Ho Chi Minh city for visiting Mekong Delta. On arrival in Hàm Luông Pier (Bến Tre town). Take a boat on Bến Tre river – one of tributaries of Mekong river, Sight-seeing  lively activities along river as fishing,water transfering……. Stop at brickwork to see how to make bricks in handy traditional style by printing and baking. Visit one of plenty of coconut processing workshops located along canal. Turn on natural scissors creeks where they look smaller and smaller to go to village. Take a walk to family workshop making sleepmats and enjoying some fruits and tea.

  • Take a motor cart (xe lôi) or bike on shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains to be able to touch on really life and find out about tropical culture from Peasants.

  • Lunch at restaurant riverside.

  • Afternoon -  Take rowing-boat along water palm creek. Then boat back to Hùng Vương Pier.

Day 11: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat  - departure (B/L/_)

Day 1: Ha Noi city & arrival (D)




  • Arrive to Noi Bai international airport. Welcome by your local tour guide and driver.

  • Pick up and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Ha Noi city tour (B/L/_)




  • Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda, continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university. You will also visit the famous prison that American POWs sarcastically dubbed the “Hanoi Hilton” during the Vietnam War. Take a relaxing walk along Thanh Nien street next to the famous West Lake.

  • Visit Dong Xuan market and enjoy traditional food Cha Ca La Vong a Ha Noi specialty. Riding on a rickshaw around 36 streets in the Old Quarter. You will have many chance to see local product handmade as well as doing shopping.

  • Enjoy water puppet show in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Ha Noi – Ha Long ( B / L / D )




  • Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Halong City. Tranfer by tender to the Paloma Cruise – enjoy welcome drink. Receive cruise briefing and check in to cabins and begin cruise.

  • Lunch – delicious Vietnamese set menu (Massage service is available beginning after lunch and thoughout the cruise. Heads to Bai Tu Long Bay passing the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, Oan Lagoon, Mat Quy (Monster Head) and Am Tich (Teapot) Islets and Vung Vieng fishing village. Visit the fishing village by local rowing boat (01 hour) then return to the vessel for free time at your leisure or join one of the following optional activities:

Day 5:  Sapa - CocLy Market - Boat Trip o­n Chay River ( B/ L / D )




  • Meeting your tour guide and driver on arrival to Lao Cai Station. Short time for rest and having breakfast at local restaurant. Depart for CocLy market. Experience the peaceful life of the different ethnic tribes (Flower H'mong, Black Dzao, Tay, Dzay). The market gives them the chance to meet and share their joys and sorrows after the harvest. Bid farewell to the market and take an exhilarating boat trip along the Chay River, where you are bound to feel a sense of your own minuteness against the majestic backdrop of the high Rock Mountains and to be stunned by the breathtaking waterfalls.

  • Visit Trung Do village of the Tay Minority. After the boat trip, visit a small town called BaoNhai.

  • Proceed to Sapa.

Day 6: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van - Sapa (B/L/D)




  • Breakfast at the hotel. Trekking down to the picturesque valley of Muong Hoa. We will walk on small paths and trails along these rice paddy to reach Lao Chai and Tavan Village to visit the Tay and Day tribes. Spend time interacting with ethnic people then our car will be ready to take you back to Sapa.

  • Enjoy Vietnamese cuisine dinner.

  • Overnight at your proposed hotel in Sapa.


Day 7: Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai – Lao Cai (B/ L/D)




  • Sunrise breakfast in the hotel get ready for our next trek. You first sneak through the market and leave the busy town behind. After a couple of minutes, you will follow a road going down hill to Cat Cat village.

  • You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station. Enjoy traditional music performance there with colorful culture by your own. Take a rest here before you trek downhill to get Sin Chai village. Enjoy beautiful scenery on the way back to Sapa town for lunch.

  • You will have free time to discover by yourself in the afternoon until transfer to Laocai station to board the night train to Hanoi.

  • Overnight in an air-conditioned soft sleeper cabin.


Day 8: Return Ha Noi – Hue




  • Arrival to the train station around 04.30am. Pick up and transfer to the airport for boarding the flight VN1541 to Hue (08.05am – 09.15am).

  • Pick up and transfer to the city center. Meals on guest’s account.

Day 9: Hue city (B/L/_)




  • After your breakfast, at 08.30 am our guide will welcome you at hotel and take you to the boat landing for visit Thien Mu pagoda by dragon boat. Along this famous river you will have chance to enjoy the beautiful landscapes along two banks of river. Step on to visit the most ancient pagoda of Viet Nam – lies on Northern of Hue city. Next, you go on visiting The Citadel where Nguyen Kings lived in the past including Flag Tower, the Forbidden Purple City such as Five Phoenix Tower, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Urn Dynasty.

  • Continue visiting the complex of Nguyen Kings’ mausoleums for more experiences of architecture of Kings. Factually, there are three mausoleums still keep original architecture.   • Afternoon, Leave for visiting My Son Hollyland – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you have more chance to learn about of architecture of Cham people.   • Meeting your tour guide and driver on arrival. Depart for Cu Chi tunnels an underground network of tunnels constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. Day 16: Hochiminh – My Tho – Sadec -  Can Tho (B/L/_)




  • Breakfast at your hotel. Leave Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields.

  • On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals.

  • Have a short cycling tour, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantations and villages.

  • Proceed to Sadec, board a sampan for Xeo Quyt, a former Viet Cong base in a forest during the Vietnam war (rowing sampan or a walk).

  • After breakfast, take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river (Bassac River), then proceed to Cai Rang floating markets which are the liveliest in the whole religion.

  • Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to pass a "Monkey bridge" which is built by only one stem of bamboo. Visit the orchard garden.

  • Stop for lunch. Proceed to Chau Doc, continue the tour to visit Tra Su, getting to the wild birds Sanctuary, cruising smoothly with small boats to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest, watching storks, cranes and other tropical birds.

BacHa & Cocly - Special markets & Boat trip





  • Beautiful and colorful Sunday and Tuesday Market of the hill tribal peoples living around Coc Ly Commune and the northern region of Bac Ha District with festival atmosphere. Meeting to hill tribal peoples such as: Flower Hmong, Black Zao, Tay, Nung..., who go to the market in their bast traditional costume not only for shopping but mainly for socializing.

  • Magnificient and stunning landscapes of the mountainous region in the far-north and Chay River Massif.



Day 1: Hanoi - Laocai




  • 20 : 00 pm - Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer to Hanoi railway station for boarding the Express Train to Laocai. Overnight in an air-conditioned soft sleeper wooden cabin.


Day 2: (Sunday): Lao Cai – Bac Ha market – Sapa ( B/ L/ D) 




  • Picked up at Laocai Railway Station then drive to BacHa market. The beginning of the day on which you visit a big market filled with many different hill - tribe peoples. This is the most colourful market in North Vietnam. At the market, you have chance to enjoy BacHa people's simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches... talking to the minorities through the guide's interpretation. Leave the market for the H'mong King's house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920. Return the town for lunch. In the afternoon, spend time visiting BanPho village. Say good bye to BacHa and get back to Sapa. On the way back, drop in to see the Vietnamese and Chinese Harbour Mouth in LaoCai.

  • The market is the chance for the minorities to meet and share joy and sorrows after the crops, to exchange one another's experience. Say goodbye to the market and get down onto a boat along Chay river. You are bound to feel great and find yourselves smaller among high rock mountains and to be surprised at white and breathtakingly waterfalls. The Fairy Cave is located deeply in the rocks. Get off the boat to visit a village of the Tay Minority (TrungDo village) by the river.

  • After the boat trip, visit a small town – Bao Nhai and then take jeep back to Laocai Station for the night train to Hanoi.

Day 1: (Sunday) Sapa - Laochai Village - TaVan Village ( B/ L / D )

  • 6 : 00 am - Arrive at Laocai railway station. Welcome by your local guide and driver. Transfer to your hotel in Sapa for breakfast and a shower. Leave Sapa at 10am by jeep to visit an H'mong village nestling in a beautiful valley and a hydroelectric power station built by the French. Follow a small path to visit 2 other villages of the H'mong and the Dzay people (LaoChai and TaVan). Picnic lunch en route.

  • Dinner with a Dzay family.

  • Overnight in TaVan village. (5 hours trekking, 14 km, 3 villages).

Day 2: (Monday) TaVan Village - Giang Ta Chai Village -Sapa ( B / L / D )

  • Breakfast at the homestay, then take the road to GiangTaChai village to see the Red Dzao people via a network of paths through terraces and bamboo forests. Visit a picturesque waterfall and a suspension bridge. Enjoy a picnic lunch and cross the river to visit an H'mong village on the mountainside. Return to Sapa by jeep. Visit an ancient stone circle. Check into hotel.

Experience the peaceful life of the different ethnic tribes (Flower H'mong, Black Dzao, Tay, Dzay).  The market gives them the chance to meet and share their joys and sorrows after the harvest. Bid farewell to the market and take an exhilarating boat trip along the Chay River, where you are bound to feel a sense of your own minuteness against the majestic backdrop of the high Rock Mountains and to be stunned by the breathtaking waterfalls. Visit TrungDo village of the Tay Minority. After the boat trip, visit a small town called BaoNhai, then return by jeep to Laocai station to board the night train to Hanoi.

Day 1 (Friday) Sapa Town's Highlights -  Ta Phin Village (B/L/D)


  • Meet your Sapa tour guide and driver upon your arrival to Lao Cai Station. Transfer uphill the Hoang Lien Son mountains to Sapa with some stop for over viewing of stunning valleys and terraced rice fields along the way.

  • After Breakfast your guide will show you around for a brief introduction of this charming town. At the market, ethnic minority people of different groups wearing their traditional costumes made by themselves comes every day selling local products includes vegetable, bamboo shoot, mushroom, medicinal herbs and souvenirs...there are chances to get intact and taking photos. Later you will follow the footsteps uphill to the top of Ham Rong Mountain for over viewing beautiful scenery of the town and surrounding area, paying visit to an orchard garden and a mini museum which tells you a lot about ethnic minority people living in Sa Pa and the northwest region.

  • After Lunch, transfer 14km to the center of Ta Phin valley, then you will enjoy an easy walk following village path, paying visit to some H'mong hamlets scattering from the bottom of the valley to higher mountain slopes. From high elevation, great view of the valley stretching under your foot. Continue your walk to the Red Zao village in which you will meet groups of women making handicrafts includes embroidered clothes, handbags...

  • Transfer back to Sa Pa in late afternoon and the rest hours is at your leisure.

Day 2 (Saturday) Tribal Village Exploration in Muong Hoa Valley (B/L/D)


  • Today you will spend the whole day exploring the spectacular Muong Hoa. A Jeep will take us out of the town, following the only road built on the side of a mountain range, looking down the valley, over viewing magnificent landscapes composed of high mountains, deep valleys, and stream of water winding, waterfalls and terraced rice paddies...Many time, leaving the main road, you will visit tribal villages such as Ta Van of the Zay, Su Pan of the Black H'mong, Ban Ho of the Tay...there are chances for meeting and contacting locals at home and at works. We leave Ban Ho in late afternoon for a drive back to Sapa.

  • Evening is at your leisure.

  • Overnight in Sapa.


Day 3 (Sunday) Full day joining the famous Bac Ha Market (B/L/D)


  • Every day always begins very early in Vietnam. Especially on Sunday in Bac Ha. You will be waken up, having Breakfast and check out your hotel early before seven.

  • Leaving Sapa at 07.00 for a transfer 3 hours down hill to Lao Cai and later uphill to Bac Ha. As you get close to The market, you will see lot of Flower H'mong with their horses loading with selling's along the way. Arriving at the most crowded time of the market you will join some thousands local tribal peoples such as Flower H'mong, Tay, Zao and Phu La who are in their colorful traditional dresses shoping, talking, enjoying food...The most colorful part is clothes section while the most interesting ones probably the food stalls and animal market. Be noted that the small animals such as chicken, piggy... are sold in narrow ground at the main market place but buffaloes, horses market lies about 3 hundred meters away near the main motor way.

  • Some hours getting excited with the market activities and festive atmosphere, Lunch will be served in a local restaurant with set menu and you may try H'mong home made corn wine.

  • Afternoon will be highlighted with a short walk around Ban Pho Village of the Flower H'mong and Tay peoples which includes some small hamlets set amongst lush plump gardens, terraced paddies and mountain back drops for a local breath. Then transfer to Laocai station for boarding the night train to Hanoi.

  • At 6.00 am, Arrive at Laocai Train station. Pick up at Laocai Train Station to transfer to Muong Hum market. It takes almost 2 hours to get to MuongHum - a small & traditional market situated among ethnic villages. The market deeply shows the typical cultural features of Vietnam's remote areas. Leave the market and transfer to Sapa. On the way, spend time visiting silver water, visiting a village of the Black H'mong and then reach Sapa and check in hotel.

  • Overnight in Sapa.


Day 2: Sapa - Laochai - TaVan Village - 3 villages (B/L/D)

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Sapa for the trekking at 10:00 AM. Take the main road by jeep and go down hill to the valley. Cross MuongHoa River to get to the other mountainside for 3 villages with rice terraces: Y Linh Ho, Laochai, and Tavan. Stay the night at a local family in Tavan village and in night time enjoy culture performance show with Zay Ethnic people.

Day 3: TaVan village - Giang Ta Chai Village - Sapa - Night train to Hanoi, 5 hours trekking 2 villages (B/L/D)

  • Get up in the morning to enjoy the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the village. Breakfast, take the road to GiangTa Chai village of the Red Dzao minority via the paths between terraces and through bamboo forests. Visit silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, visit the people in the village and then cross MuongHoa River up to the mountain to visit the last village of the trek - Supan village of the H'mong. Get back to Sapa by jeep. On the way back, enjoy visiting the ancient stone circle where stones are decorated with ancient carvings. Reach Sapa. Then transfer to Lao Cai station for taking the night train to Hanoi.

Day 1 (Tuesday) Lao Cai - Cao Son  Market (B/L/D)


  • Upon arrival to Lao Cai station early morning, you will meet your local tour guide and driver and enjoy breakfast in a restaurant nearby. Freshen up and heading along the road to Muong Khuong district which weaves its way up and down hills of the tea plantation and pine trees. It gets wilder and greener with thick forest and small tribal villages scattering isolated on slopes of the mountains as you get close to Cao Son Commune. You will enjoy much of the scenery which is marvelous and changes very fast after every bend. Arriving in Cao Son almost at noon, checking in the Lodge where you will stay overnight, take a rest or wandering around breathing fresh air.

  • Afternoon is for walking to explore tribal villages nearby for a discovery of tribal culture, custom and self subsidiary way of life of different ethnic minorities. Overnight at Cao Son Eco Lodge.


Day 2 (Wednesday) Cao Son Market -Sapa (B/L/D)


  • Today is the market day in Cao Son and you will spend the whole morning to take part in this weekly event. The village seems to wake up after a week staying peacefully. People from different tribal groups such as H'mong, Zao, Nung, Pa Di, Tu Di...wearing their traditional costumes converge to the market place on foot, motorcycles and horses. Many comes from remote villages, near the border and have to start their journey even from midnight. Joining the market, you will soon get the feeling of local, cheerful faces every where. Commodities for sale at the market is rich, from home produces such as fruit, vegetable, chili, ginger, smelled medicinal herbs, mushroom, bamboo shoot, corn wine, local handicraft, animals includes pigs, chicken, dogs, cats... to farming tools as hoes, plough shares, spades, knives...

  • You are leaving the market and Cao Son after Lunch for a drive to Lao Cai and then uphill to Sapa through a scenic region. Arriving in Sapa at your hotel in the afternoon and the rest of the day is set free for you to wander around charming Sapa town. Overnight in Sapa.


Day 3 (Thursday) Sapa Tribal Village walk to Ma Tra & Ta Phin (B/L/D)


  • Lying on the south of Sa Pa town, this vast valley composes of 3 chambers surrounded by high mountains with thick forest at the top and terraced rice paddies from lower slopes stretching to the bottom. It is home to the Black H'mong and the Red Zao ethnic minority who live in wooden houses scattering here and there.

  • Starting from Sa Pa with your guide, you will follow a trail running through fruit and orchard gardens, lush pine forests to a Black Hmong ethnic minority village named Matra, isolated away from the civilization. Chickens, water buffalos, pot - belly pigs and piggy everywhere, some locals will be happy to invite us to their home which offers chances to see their dwellings, weavings on belly looms to makes traditional costumes out of hemp fiber...Our path weaves itself up and down hills, through valleys with terraced rice fields which create spectacular landscapes. After picnic Lunch, we get to Ta Phin Commune where the Black H'mong and the Red Zao live together. It is very interesting to realize culture assimilation: Which can be mixed, which can not! At the end of the footpath, our Jeep is waiting for us for the return journey to Sapa.

Day 4 (Friday) Visit Lao Chai & Ta Van Village (B/L)


  • Today morning, you will explore the spectacular Muong Hoa. A Jeep will take us out of the town, following the only road built on the side of a mountain range, looking down the valley, over viewing magnificent landscapes composed of high mountains, deep valleys, and stream of water winding, waterfalls and terraced rice paddies...walking trail can be seen clearly from the road winding up and down hills on the other side of Muong Hoa River to connect village to villages...

  • Our suggested walk starts from Lao Chai village of the H'mong along the river to Ta Van, the Zay village. Our Jeep will pick us up at Ta Van Bridge and drive back to Sa Pa at noon.

  • Afternoon is at your leisure for wandering Sa Pa town and market until late afternoon transfer to Lao Cai station for taking the night train to Hanoi.
